The Diefenbunker is a one-of-a-kind museum and national historic site. Our unique workplace inside a historic Cold War bunker and our passionate and inclusive team make for a fulfilling working environment. Board of Directors

We are currently seeking qualified candidates to serve on our volunteer Board of Directors, to help steer the organization in its next phase of growth. The Board has a particular need for individuals with expertise in the following areas:

  • Philanthropy, fundraising, and donor relations, advocacy
  • Public affairs (communications, public relations, marketing)
  • Government relations

Applications are invited from Canadians across the country. Submissions are due February 28, 2025.

General Volunteers

We welcome volunteers to be part of a team dedicated to preserving and promoting history. Volunteers can assist with tours, facility maintenance, our amateur radio station, and more. If you're interested in sharing your skills and experience to support our museum operations, we would love to hear from you!
