SUMMARY:Easter at the Bunker 2025
DESCRIPTION:Spring has sprung! Join us underground at the Diefenbunker for some springtime family fun. \nYou’re invited to explore our four-storey Cold War bunker while searching for signs of spring. Participate in our scavenger hunt for camouflaged Easter eggs and flowers\, decorate a butterfly or an egg at our craft station\, and find small treats along the way. You can also take home a memento of the day with a fun photo booth. \nThis year\, our groundhog Bunker Buddy\, Pudge\, has brought a friend! Keep an eye out for a special visitor looking to collect the eggs they left behind. \nHop on over to the Diefenbunker — we’re egg-cited to see you! \n\nDate: Saturday\, April 19\, 2025 \nTime: 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.\, with designated entry time slots  \n\nEntry time slots are every 15 minutes beginning at 10:00 a.m.\nThe last entry time is 2:00 p.m. and the museum closes at 3:00 p.m.\nPlease arrive during your scheduled entry time. If you miss your entry time\, you may need to wait outside the museum due to capacity limits.\n\nAdmission:  \n\n$13 per person; Infants 2 and under are free.\nTickets must be purchased in advance\, as there are designated entry time slots and limited spots available.\nParking is always free!\n\nDetails:  \n\nUpon arrival\, you will receive information on the activities.\nAll items on the scavenger hunt are visual and do not involve picking up or holding any objects. There are no physical eggs or chocolates in the scavenger hunt. Any treats provided are found at activity stations throughout the museum (nut-free\, and while supplies last).\nBetween 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.\, you can take your photo in a photobooth\, courtesy of Enchanted Booth! They’re the city’s one-stop shop for photo booth rental in Ottawa. Be sure to stop by their booth for a fun photo (or two!) and take home some digital memories.\nPlease note that the multiple levels\, stairs\, and narrow hallways in the Diefenbunker can make the museum difficult to navigate with a stroller. We recommend bringing a baby carrier instead\, if this is a feasible option for you. Learn more about accessibility.\n\n>> BOOK YOUR TICKETS\n\n*The museum will not be open for general admission on Saturday\, April 19; only to those with tickets for Easter at the Bunker. \n*On Good Friday\, April 18\, we will be open for general admission and guided tours from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. We highly recommend you book your Easter weekend tickets in advance.
