The Diefenbunker, Canada’s Cold War Museum collects, preserves and displays artefacts from military, public, private and all levels of government programs specifically concerned with civil protection throughout the Cold War era.  Of primary importance are those artefacts pertaining directly to the Diefenbunker and associated military and civilian sites.  In addition, the museum collects Cold War artefacts that document the major events, issues and personages of the Cold War. 

Our growing collection includes original Diefenbunker items, as well as cold war artefacts from other military and civilian sites and shelters.
