The Diefenbunker, Canada’s Cold War Museum collects, preserves and displays archival material from military, public, private and all levels of government programs specifically concerned with civil protection throughout the Cold War era.

In addition, we collect historical material that documents the major events, issues and personages of the Cold War.  Our growing archival collection includes printed material such as rare books, newspapers, pamphlets, magazines, games, architectural drawings, maps, and other ephemera.

We also collect photographic and electronic media, such as movies, filmstrips, microfiche, sound recordings, records, videos and CDs, on a wide variety of Cold War subjects.

For information on our archives, or about conducting research at the Diefenbunker, please contact director@diefenbunker.ca
