ABOUT THE DIEFENBUNKER Diefenbunker, Canada's Cold War Museum mandate: To increase throughout Canada and the world, interest in and a critical understanding of the Cold War, by preserving the Diefenbunker as a national historic site, and operating a Cold War Museum. The Diefenbunker is also more than just a museum and National Historic Site of Canada. We're a part of our community, we're a place where motivated staff and volunteers work to preserve and promote a piece of Canadian history.
